Dubai: Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, has inaugurated the 10th Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) at Madinat Jumeirah. The forum, held under the theme ‘Sustainable Future’, is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event gathers over 3,500 global experts and specialists in project management, including senior officials, ministers, and leaders from both government and private sectors. Featuring more than 55 speakers from various sectors, the forum is organized by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in collaboration with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Emaar Properties, DP World, and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Upon arrival, Sheikh Mansoor was welcomed by Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA. A film was shown highlighting Dubai’s progress and the forum’s growth, underscoring its status as a significant global event. The keynote address was delivered by Ars¨ne Wenger, former Arsenal manager, who spoke on leadership and collaboration.
Sheikh Mansoor also honored the forum’s co-hosts and sponsors, recognizing their contributions. The forum’s agenda includes discussions on digital transformation, sustainable cities, and future trends in project management. Future sessions will explore topics like jobs of the future and the digital economy, featuring notable speakers like Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and Dr. Aisha bin Bishr.
