BEIRUT: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 77 people were killed and 180 others wounded as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of casualties since the start of the events to 2,787 deaths and 12,772 wounded.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Coordinator of the Government Emergency Committee, Minister of Environment Dr. Nasser Yassin, as saying that 138 airstrikes were recorded over the past 24 hours in various regions of Lebanon, bringing the total number since the beginning of the aggression to 11,478 airstrikes.
He pointed out that 1,118 centres have been opened to receive displaced persons, 941 of which have reached their maximum capacity, and 188,690 displaced persons (43586 families) have been registered in the shelters.
